Experience:

• 2 to 10+ years bookkeeping and payroll experience

Skills:

• Bookkeeping experience – including payroll/payroll tax, monthly and quarterly bookkeeping, sales tax and basic level of understanding accounting, bookkeeping preparation and financial statement preparation
• Detail-oriented
• Dedication to deliver a high level of customer service
• Ability to service multiple clients simultaneously
• Communication skills with clients and management

• Occasional travel to client and potential client sites

Experience:

• None or less than 3 years experience in public accounting

Responsibilities:

• Assist in completing assurance engagements (audits / reviews/compilations)
• Work on a variety of accounting projects
• Become proficient in the preparation of corporate, individual, partnership, fiduciary and other tax returns prepared by the firm
• Communicate well with management
• Occasional travel to client sites
• Ability to work in a team setting
• Ability to service multiple clients simultaneously

Education and /or Experience:

• Bachelors in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Licensed CPA or in the process of taking the CPA exam – preferred
• Proficient in computerized accounting software and Microsoft Office

We are looking for additions to our experienced professional staff that are looking to expand on their prior experience and who also want a long term commitment as they move forward in their career. The ideal candidate would be a professional who not only knows their skill set but is also personable and works well with our clients.

Experience:

• 5 to 10+ in one or more of the following areas:

Skills: The following are the key skills we are seeking:

• Prior in-charge experience on audit engagements
• Communicate well with clients, management, and staff
• Complex C Corporation, multistate consolidated tax return filings and related planning
• Flow through entity (S corp/partnership) compliance and related planning
• 1040 compliance and planning, with emphasis on 1040s of shareholders of flow through entities
• Transactions (stock and asset acquisitions, succession planning for family businesses, etc.)
• Client management and ownership
• Tax provision preparation; deep understanding of nuances of ASC 740 and US GAAP vs IFRS
• Assisting tax-exempt organizations with filing Form 990
• Coaching and mentoring staff
• Ability to service multiple client engagements simultaneously and articulate complex financial information to a variety of clients

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Licensed CPA or in the process of taking the CPA exam preferred
• Proficient in computerized accounting, tax software and Microsoft Office
• Occasional travel to client sites
